CropLife® magazine continues its annual coverage of what new and upgraded equipment visitors to the 2011 summer trade shows can expect to see.
AGCO's TerraGator was the first flotation applicator to feature a continuously variable transmission (CVT). For 2012, the TG7300 and TG8300 models build on 2011 improvements, such as the CVT, by introducing the first-to-market Tier 4i compliant engine, an AGCO POWER 8.4 liter diesel engine. It meets Tier 4 compliance standards and yields higher horsepower while providing improved fuel economy of one to two gallons per hour. With these and other enhancements, the 2012 TerraGator TG7300 and TG8300 — now available — offer greater levels of productivity and a smoother driving experience.
