Precision Tank & Equipment's Pacesetter XL provides versatility — and profits — to a fleet by allowing operators to use just one unit for all fall, spring, and post liquid fertilizer and chemical applications. Buyers get two applicators for the price of one: A full flotation unit when equipped with the flotation tire package, and a row crop unit when fitted with the high-clearance, narrow tire package. Converting the units is just a matter of changing tires. The Pacesetter XL is offered on a T440 Kenworth Chassis with a 330-hp engine or a 7400 International Chassis with a 315-hp engine. Units feature an Allison 3000 RDS automatic transmission, heavy-duty two-speed drive line and tank sizes from 1,280 to 2,000 gallons. Boom widths range from 60- to 90-foot, and feature adjustable boom spray heights.
