Checkbiotech.org reports that the genetically modified (GM) Roundup Ready 2 Yield soybeans have been allowed full market access in South Korea following a two-year process.

LibertyLink soybeans -- which are already approved for food, feed, and cultivation in the U.S. and Canada and approved for import into Australia, China, the European Union, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Russia, South Africa, and Taiwan -- still must complete a final step before receiving full approval by the Korean Food and Drug Administration.
