Spreaders: Bigger, Faster, Better
There will be plenty of new spreaders and product upgrades for retailers to see at this summer's equipment shows.
According to the manufacturer, the Case IH 810 Flex-Air pneumatic applicator provides performance, productivity and versatility with the ability to apply up to three dry products and one liquid all at the same time — and all at variable rates. Multiple product bins and the liquid tank are externally mounted from the main hopper, so capacity isn't affected when selecting those configurations. The company adds that the twin fans provide the air supply for accurate application through the mid-ship mounted booms, in either 60- or 70-foot lengths. Product is metered directly above the air stream. This allows the drivers to rapidly change rates on the go.
